Classic Services opened its doors in 2025, but the experience behind it runs much deeper. After more than 15 years working in residential HVAC, Brett Sumpter and his wife Ashley started the company from the ground up in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho. Their goal was simple: bring back real service, the kind that respects your time, your home, and your trust.
Since day one, they’ve stayed focused on doing things right—not just technically, but personally. That means honest recommendations, no sales pressure, and work that speaks for itself. Today, Classic Services serves homeowners across the Boise Mountains and Treasure Valley, including McCall, Cascade, Eagle, Boise, and surrounding areas.

Before starting his own company, Brett worked as a technician, supervisor, and technical trainer at one of the largest HVAC companies in the country. In 2016, he was named one of ACHR The NEWS magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 in the industry.
He now serves on the NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Technical Committee, helping shape national standards for HVAC professionals. He’s recognized as one of the top HVAC trainers in the country, and he leads with integrity—something that shows in every job the company takes on.

Classic Services isn’t run out of a corporate office—it’s run by a local family that lives, works, and hikes in the same places their customers do. The trucks are clean. We show up in uniform, use shoe covers and protective mats, and treat every home with respect. The dogs ride along sometimes.
